Roofing
New roofs, replacements and repairs in asphalt, tile, metal and flat torch-down. We check the roof underneath as well as the covering you can see.

San Ramon has newer Dougherty Valley roofs showing early wear and older Westside roofs nearing replacement, with association rules also shaping the choices.
What we do
New roofs, replacements and repairs in asphalt, tile, metal and flat torch-down. We check the roof underneath as well as the covering you can see.

We form aluminum and copper gutters at your home to fit each roof edge. If your existing gutters are still sound, we also handle repairs, cleaning and guards to help keep leaves out.

Add daylight to a dark room, replace an old unit or find out why one is leaking. We install VELUX skylights and fit the flashing that keeps rain from getting in around them.

Local conditions
Westside and Canyon Lakes have older composition and tile roofs, while Dougherty Valley and Crow Canyon include more recent planned developments. Both can need attention, though the cause may be different. Age-related wear on one roof isn't the same as an early problem with underlayment or builder-grade gutters on another. We inspect the valleys and vent seals before recommending the scope. Association requirements for colors, profiles and materials should also be checked before ordering replacements.
Sycamore leaves can cover a gutter opening quickly during autumn. Pistache leaflets and berry clusters are smaller, but they can collect inside a downspout bend where they are harder to see. Live oaks add to the load on shaded streets. Maintenance should address the route through the pipe as well as the top of the channel. If water still spills over an entry after cleaning, the inspection needs to consider the gutter's size and fall.
On multi-level houses, water from an upper roof can reach a lower gutter in a concentrated stream. We look at where that happens before placing the new outlets. The profile must fit the roofline and any architectural requirements, with hangers anchored into solid support. Existing perimeter drains need checking as part of the discharge plan. That way the new work addresses the point where water backs up instead of simply sending it faster toward an inadequate connection below. If neighboring houses have similar rooflines, that can be useful context, but it isn't a diagnosis of your roof. Previous repairs, tree growth and changes to downspouts can leave otherwise similar homes needing different work at the same age.

The raised frame around a skylight can catch debris on its uphill side. Wet leaves and grit held there can obstruct the intended drainage route and keep the flashing damp. Ask for that area to be checked during roof maintenance, not only the gutters below. If staining continues after clearing, the flashing or roof may need a separate repair.
Leaves and needles can collect throughout the year under dense tree cover. Check the roof valleys as well as the gutters, because debris held there can keep the surface damp. Micro-mesh guards may help with finer material that passes through larger openings, but they still need attention. Ask what will need clearing after guards are fitted and how it can be reached.
