Roofing
New roofs, replacements and repairs in asphalt, tile, metal and flat torch-down. We check the roof underneath as well as the covering you can see.

Pleasanton roofs face strong Tri-Valley sun and wind-driven rain, while mature oaks add leaves to the gutters between storms.
What we do
New roofs, replacements and repairs in asphalt, tile, metal and flat torch-down. We check the roof underneath as well as the covering you can see.

We form aluminum and copper gutters at your home to fit each roof edge. If your existing gutters are still sound, we also handle repairs, cleaning and guards to help keep leaves out.

Add daylight to a dark room, replace an old unit or find out why one is leaking. We install VELUX skylights and fit the flashing that keeps rain from getting in around them.

Local conditions
Downtown cottages, Vintage Hills ranches, Stoneridge homes and Ruby Hill estates call for different roofing details. Strong summer sun works on shingles and metal connections, while older sectional gutters may have left hidden damage in the fascia. We check that support before fitting new metal along the eave. Ventilation and valley condition also belong in the roof assessment. A replacement proposal should explain what is needed for your particular layout, rather than start with one material for every house.
Olive leaves and fruit can leave a dense deposit along the gutter bottom. Oak foliage gathers in valleys, while ornamental plum debris adds to the seasonal mix. Some of that material needs more than a quick rinse to clear it from an outlet. We inspect the gutter after cleaning to see whether the supports and joints are still sound. Temperature changes and years of use can leave older spike fixings loose even once the debris has gone.
Large roofs in Ruby Hill can direct runoff from several planes toward one long eave. The gutter and downspouts need enough capacity at those collection points, supported by hangers fixed into sound material. We also check the connection to any underground drains. Moving water off the roof is only part of the job if it then collects near a foundation or concrete edge. The inspection follows the route far enough to explain whether the outlet arrangement needs changing. Tell us if an underground drain has overflowed before or its destination is unknown. A gutter estimate should make clear where the proposed work ends and whether investigation of the drainage below ground is included or needs to be arranged separately.

Wind can push rain toward joints that remain dry in a calmer shower. If the leak appears only in those conditions, note the direction and where moisture first shows inside. The inspection can then consider the flashing overlaps and frame connections. An occasional leak still deserves attention; the absence of dripping on a calm rainy day does not mean the fault has disappeared.
Metal moves as temperatures rise and fall. On a long gutter run, the corner joints need to allow for that movement rather than depend on a rigid seal that can pull apart. If the same joint keeps dripping after resealing, ask whether movement or the way the run is supported is contributing. More sealant may leave that cause unchanged.
