What we do
How we do the work
A leaking corner or a loose hanger does not automatically mean replacing every gutter on the house. We check the metal around the problem and the wood it is attached to. If those are sound, resetting a run, repairing a joint or reconnecting a downspout may be enough. We also look along the rest of the drainage line. Water spilling in one place might be backing up from somewhere else. You'll get an explanation of what has failed and what the repair would cover. If the damage is widespread, we'll discuss replacement rather than keep patching metal that is wearing out.

Repair leaking joints
We clean the surfaces before resealing corners, end caps or outlet connections.
Replace damaged sections
Where needed, we fit sound material matched to the existing gutter color.
Reset loose supports
We rehang the run with fixings secured into sound wood.
Correct the slope
We adjust the gutter so water drains toward its outlets instead of standing.
Seal small defects
Limited cracks or holes can be patched where the surrounding metal is suitable.
Reconnect downspouts
We realign loose sections or replace pieces that have been crushed or damaged.
Address damaged fascia
Soft or rotten mounting boards need repair before a gutter can be properly supported.

Repair
A joint or hanger repair may be enough when the surrounding channel is still sound. We check the rest of the run so the repair addresses the cause of the drip or sag.
Replace one run
A badly damaged length can sometimes be replaced while the rest stays. We review the available material and profile so you know how closely the new section will match.
Replace the system
Widespread corrosion, failing joins or extensive damage behind the gutters may call for a larger replacement. The estimate should explain why a series of small patches wouldn't address those conditions.

Will you repair gutters somebody else installed?
Yes. You don't need to have bought the gutters from us to ask about a repair. We work on seamless and sectional aluminum, copper, galvanized steel and vinyl systems. We check the existing profile and condition before recommending replacement parts. If a color or shape is no longer available, we'll explain the matching options so you know what a repaired section is likely to look like.
Repair or replace?
A loose hanger or leaking joint may be repairable if the rest of the gutter is sound. Rust throughout the system, several failing seams or repeated overflow from undersized runs can make replacement more sensible. We check the cause of the problem and the condition of the remaining sections. The recommendation should explain what a repair would solve and what problems would remain afterward.
The fascia looks rotten. Is that part of the job?
Yes, when it needs replacing to support the gutter. Hangers need sound wood to hold them. If water has been spilling behind the gutter and the fascia has rotted, fastening it back into the same damaged board won't address the problem. We include the necessary fascia replacement in the repair scope and itemize the carpentry in your estimate, so the woodwork isn't an unexplained addition.
