No. The estimate is free and you don't have to book the work. We visit the property, inspect the problem and put the proposed work and price in writing. You can read it over, compare it with other quotes and ask us to explain anything that isn't clear before deciding.

We accept credit or debit card, cash, check and online payment. We don't offer payment plans. Before agreeing to the job, ask us to go through when payments will be due and how to make them. Those details should be clear to you alongside the work and the total price.

Start by comparing the work listed, not just the totals. Does each quote include removing the old roofing, replacing flashing and checking the deck? Are the materials and cleanup described? If something is missing, ask whether it is included or would be an extra. Different scopes can explain a gap that looks puzzling at first.

No. Every installer is an employee, never subcontractors. The crew that begins your job stays with it through completion. That keeps the work with the people who know what was found at the start. If you have a question while the job is under way, ask the crew or call our office.

The schedule depends on the size and pitch of the roof, the material being removed and what we find beneath it. Your estimate will set out the planned dates. The roof is dried in at the end of every working day. If you need to plan around noise, parking or access, mention that when we arrange the work.

Yes. If only a small area needs work and the material beside it is sound, we'll explain the repair option. If more of the material has worn out, we'll show why a larger job may be needed. Ask what would stay in place after a repair and what condition it is in.

The roof is dried in at the end of every working day. We watch the forecast when planning tear-off and discuss the schedule with you. If you are concerned about rain during your job, ask how the opened area will be covered and how a weather change could affect the next day's work.

Yes. We hold a license from the California Contractors State License Board and every job we take is carried out under it. Ask the office for the number and check it on the board's register before you agree to anything.

New roof and gutter installations have 10 years of workmanship coverage. Repairs have one to five years depending on scope. Leaf Blaster Pro has 40 years on parts, not labor, with a shorter coastal term where applicable. VELUX installation and flashing has 10 years leak-free. Ask us to explain the terms for your job; product coverage and workmanship coverage are different.

Manufacturer warranties cover specified products and have their own conditions. They are separate from coverage for the installation work. Ask which documents apply to your materials, what each excludes and who to contact if there is a problem. A skylight glass-seal term, for example, is not the same as coverage for a leak around its flashing.

No. We make planned visits on scheduled weekdays from Brentwood, so please don't rely on this form for an immediate callout. Stay off the roof while it is wet. You can contact our office about an inspection and explain what you've seen, but an estimate request is not a booking for a visit today.

Sectional gutters have joins between the shorter pieces. A seamless gutter is shaped at your home in lengths that fit each run, with joints at corners and outlets. Fewer joins means fewer places to maintain along the straight sections. Either type still needs sound supports, the right slope and clear downspouts to drain well.

Aluminum is light, doesn't rust and comes in more than 30 baked-on colors. Its expected life is 20 to 30 years, with a finish warranty against chipping and peeling. It is a practical choice when you want the gutter to match the trim.

Copper has soldered joints, develops a patina as it weathers and lasts 50 years or more. Choose it when that changing finish suits the house and your plans for the roof.

They can be helpful under heavy tree cover or where cleaning access is difficult. We use Leaf Blaster Pro micro-mesh, which fits over the gutter without lifting the roof shingles.

Guards still need checking and clearing on top. Before fitting them, we look at the existing runs and outlets. A cover won't correct a sagging gutter or an outlet that already struggles with runoff.

Twice a year minimum is our starting point. Heavy canopy may mean three or four visits. The timing should follow what is dropping onto your roof and whether the outlets were clear at the last visit.

Oak leaves can form a mat, needles can pass through screens and eucalyptus bark can lodge in outlets. Blossom and grit may leave sludge. Ask what the cleaning found so the next visit can be timed for your house.

Repair is worth considering for a failed joint, loose support or damaged downspout where the surrounding metal is still sound. Widespread corrosion or repeated failures may point toward replacement.

We check the fascia as well as the gutter. New hangers won't hold properly in rotten wood. If you're also planning roof work, mention it so the roof edge and gutter can be considered together.
